douglas, you just drafted deuce and jamal lewis.i hope his ankle braclet doesn't show him down.
hey, he's an angry ex-con now, he don't give a fuck. those are solid enough picks
more picks for Douglas:Joe HornBrian WestbrookTodd HeapMarc Bulger
shit, i didn't want a tight end that soon. that's way too early
douglas you just grabbed Muhsin Muhammed and Eric Moulds.
how about a 2nd qb, what the hell?
well, you did grab Shayne Graham, the kicker from Cinci and the Indi defense. But don't worry, about 20 starting QB still floating around.
how the fuck did i get indy's defense? natty sci's intramural football team could score 5 times on them before halftime. lucky for them peyton throws six td's a game.
Well, you also have Jake Plummer, Carnell Williams, Houshmandzada and Faulk now.
but at least you didn't draft a guy in rehab that can't see out of one eye like Brock did.
two more picks:Justin McCareins (WR NYJ)LJ Smith. (TE Phi)
who was that?
draft is over, so you should be able to check out your picks. Hope you like kickers and defense.
Gotta have a team druggie!
what is w/t? w/r? bn?Someone fill me in...
w/t and w/r is wide receiver or tight end / wide receiver or running back.
So I could potentially start 4 running backs if I wanted to?
yup, 4 RBs.sports guy e-mails: unanswered, but there are some gems: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page...ex?name=simmons
Ha ha! I am guessing by Phil's post that Brock got Koren Robinson! Ha! Actually I always kinda liked that guy, he put up good numbers for a couple years. Mushin Muhammed, not gonna do nearly as well this year...Anyways, if anyone wants to go to Ginnys diner or something, I might go after a power nap, which brings me to another point, Xanax is not cool...

anything going on tonight??
Phil, in regards to the article about Kerry Rhodes, I was not aware he ever played basketball at Louisville. I had no doubt about his talent. Last year he set the single season interception record, not bad for a guy who only played safety for 2 seasons. I can see him being at least as good as Sam Madison, of "Big Play" Ray, who's little brother looked pretty good when I saw him practice.
I think Kerry might be fibbing a bit about playing Basketball at Louisville. I think he had an option to walk-on, but never did. He certainly did not play in any games.
Wow, looks like Smitticks and Red Stripe both have a gram of protein in them. Fuck Egg Whites, Im drinking beer.Is anyone going out tonight?
Anyone down for seeing "The Aristocrats" today? I was thinking of going to Baxter Ave theatre sometime this afternoon as that seems like the most appropriate venue for a film of that nature.
Phil, appearantly Reggie Bradshaw has quit the UofL football team, haven't heard anything about where he's going, but I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at Boise St.
yeah, I saw that. Which only solidifies my long running theory: canadians can't be trusted. They said Darius Mann is moving to RB. Interesting.

I was just reading some articles on Hurricane Katrina, this little clip is from an AP article:Tony Peterson leaned over a balcony above Bourbon Street, festooned with gold, purple and green wreathes as Katrina's first rains pelted his shaved head."I was going to the Superdome and then I saw the two-mile line," the 42-year-old musician said. So, the other day I looked up the greatest computer game ever, Starflight and Starflight 2.Anyone ever play that? It's freakin' sweet. So it's downloadable from several web sites, I think the copyright has run out on it. But I won't post a link, just in case Phil is in a bad mood. Just Google search and there are a couple of sites with the download. You'll need DOSbox to slow it down, otherwise space battles take approximately 0.26 seconds, and you die.Just in case anyone ever played that game and felt like taking a trip down memory lane....It was such a great game, that nearly 20 years later it still kicks ass.
In regards to Douglas's link-I'm really surprised that the FCC doesn't find a girl crushing Fosters cans with her tits offensive...

Shit, forgot to mention the above link is NOT SAFE FOR WORK!
a place to download the game (or a lot of older games) is Home of the Underdogs (http://www.the-underdogs.org)They are good about cleaning up games that the publisher doesn't want available, but the legality of the files is still questionable because they are still technically copyrighted. It warrants mentioning that you can also download Simtower perhaps one of the greatest games ever released.
In case you wanted to see who Tony Peterson is, he's a picture. He's the guy up on the balcony.http://news.yahoo.com/photos/ss/eve...aeg10508290023#
Yah,Moby Games has it too.I don't know the legality. I think it must be legal though, because I found it 2 years ago on another site that still has it hosted. If it was illegal, I would imagine it would have been taken down by now...
Most of the time with these games and the legality is that no company is around to file a lawsuit to remove them from the website.but take a look at Sierra's collection of games. In many cases, you won't find them because Sierra is still around and pretty protective about certain games. Like the Space Quest or Kings Quest games are all but missing from those sites. But by classifying themselves as a library, they may be in the clear because I believe copyright laws state copies can be made by library if it has been determained that the work is not available at a fair price and the library isn't selling it themselves. But maybe not...Here's an old article from the New York Times on it: http://www.nytimes.com/library/tech...les/18aban.html

this one is rated at 60,000 hours. So about 10 years on the brightest setting.my concern is that it says it sucks at 480i. Anyone willing to translate that for me?

Here is the recommended sites for the new arena.http://www.courier-journal.com/apps...NEWS01/50831001However, I think it will be built at old fairgrounds because UofL fans will be bitching about having to drive downtown. I can't wait for this one to hit the mainstream public. Hilarity ensues!
the majority of Louisville fans with season tickets are no where near the Fairgrounds either. Either way, they'll be driving. The key will be parking downtown, that'll be the big issue.
The Onion updated and now you can get their archives for free, which means all of the H-Dog's articles are now online.http://www.theonion.com/content/col...s/view/kornfeldBig upz to tha whole Midstate Office Supply Accountz Reeceevable posse
Yeah parking vs. economic impact. Logically, it should be put downtown to get the most bang for the buck assisting the city's economical growth. Unfortunately, people will site convenience issues and as a result chances are will be put at the fairgrounds. My point is this: I am all in favor of Louisville building a new arena. If any tax/government money at all is going to be used, build it where that will assist the city the most, i.e. downtown. If they want to stay at the fairgrounds, stay at Freedom Hall and save money.
fuck the new arena, fuck the cardinals, fuck pitino, fuck jurich, and fuck abramson. it's complete bullshit those guys will pull out all the stops for a new arena for u of l, but when an nba team, i'm sorry, 3 nba teams, try to relocate to louisville, pitino and jurich throw a fit b/c they won't be the big dogs anymore, and abramson stands there with a fucking tampon stuck up his pussy b/c he doesn't want to piss them off. i want a new arena, but for the reason it should've been built in the first place, an nba team.

Yeah there was a spot for it, however, it is on the honor system and I am sure people cheated.
My 2 cents on a new bb arena in Louisville...not gonna happen. Too much bullshit, too many different vested interests. Meanwhile the Cards keep playing in Freedom Hall. The "Task Force" will continue to debate about location until everyone loses interest and the whole idea runs out of gas.BTW, bringing an NBA team to Louisville is one of the worst ideas I have ever heard. I will not elaborate further as I have done so exhaustively on other internet forums.

I learned a few things today; 1st, UK's offense lived up to and exceeded all preseason expectations. Woodson and co. exploited the Card's inexperienced secondary. My congratulations are in order to Mr. Joker Phillips-if y'all continue to play the way you did today, UT, UGA, or UF can expect a rude awakening. Not to mention the weak-ass Cocks or Vandy!!Another thing I learned today is that 4th St. live is really expensive!
Yeah I really like what Joker has done and I actually anticipate that UK will go to a no hudle offense. They should have employed that strategy sooner and Joker and Roeper will both tell you that. Anyway, I think that UK was much better than we all thought and we know that they atleast have something to build on. It actually might be possible to get a decent record this year (5-6 or 6-5) is pretty good for UK playing 5 top 25 teams.

Sept. 10 Idaho State Home 6 p.m. Sept. 17 Indiana Away 6:45 p.m. Sept. 24 Florida Home Oct. 8 South Carolina Away Oct. 22 Mississippi Away Oct. 29 Mississippi State Home Nov. 5 Auburn Home Nov. 12 Vanderbilt Away Nov. 19 Georgia Away Nov. 26 Tennessee Home So here is the rest of UK's schedule. I was hoping for maybe 5 or 6 wins this year, though not really thinking that is possible with the loss to UL. So if we win a big time SEC game that might be enough for Brooks to hang on a bit longer. Thanks Stew... but I knew he'd be picked up by the Vikings, a solid passing team, so this was all planned well in advance. Look whose laughing now boys!Note: I dropped Robinson 30 seconds after the draft and picked up Dante Hall, my foundation of wide receivers who score all their points on kick and punt returns. Eddie Drummond, you're next!
What are you going to do if they kick away from them?
So, if anyone has ever visited the internet, you most likely have come across this site:www.maddox.xmission.comI didn't approve of his new offering, so I sent him this letter:Hey Maddox, I dig your site, or at least I used to. I was quite disturbed by your announcement you would donate half of your profits to the Red Cross from the sale of your merchandise. Why not all of it? It seems to me you are prying on people's sympathetic properties to increase your own profits. By using the Red Cross donation as an incentive to buy, you increase sales. So yah, you might give half your profits, but if you sell 4X as much, you've doubled your own profits. I thought you despised assholes that would use such a ploy to garner more profits. But now, here you are, using the same capatilistic game to raise your profits by profiteering on people's sympathetic feelings. I expected more from you. I thought you were different and that you meant what you preached. But no, it's all about the money, isn't it? He sent this response:My entire livelihood comes from the store, and I don't have banners on my site, unlike CNN / Fox and other news organizations that profit directly from tragic events through advertising revenue. I'm giving people who would have normally never donated an incentive to donate. Not to mention that I'm an influential figure on the Internet with millions of fans, setting a good example for others. But feel free to ignore anything positive as long as it supports your skewed theory. I don't need any "ploy" to sell the products, they sell just fine on their own. It costs me a great deal of time and money to ship this stuff, and when I cut my profits in half, my shipping manager and I have to do the same amount of work for less. Not to mention the hidden costs such as storing boxes, paper, ink, electricity, two phone lines, gas to deliver the shipments, and misprint costs. I don't need to be doing this. It's a bit rude to question the motives of someone donating, especially when I have nothing to gain from it. If it was "all about the money" like you're suggesting, then why haven't I put banners up on my site, dumbass? Why do I continue to pay for all of my bandwidth out of my pocket? Why wouldn't I simply donate less, like 40% or 30% to keep more for myself? You think 50% is some magical number that will instantly increase my sales by 400%? I'm barely getting by as it is. Until you've matched my own contribution, or even if you have, kindly take your cynicism and shove it. Thanks. ------Ha ha ha, he called me dumbass. How many of you have been called a dumbass by Maddox?I don't think Maddox knows the definition of "profits". I know one thing: shipping costs are not included in it. I would respond with this, but I am already pushing ending up on his site with a one-sided argument.
here's another one...http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/4848174
the other problem with punt / kick returners is they don't get points, the teams defense does...article on stephon marbury that's pretty good: http://www.nypost.com/sports/knicks/27752.htm Use bugmenot (http://www.bugmenot.com) for registration.I read that book on Stephon Marbury Growing up called Last Shot (highly recommended), and it's pretty good. Especially after you read what happened over time to the rest of his teammates from those years.
C'mon Baron - explain it to him and post the response. I actually enjoyed reading it. Does maddox know who he is fucking with? I mean really, about 10 people read our site on a daily basis. So through a combined effort we can probably raise like 100 bucks, which is pretty generous for our alcoholic asses. But here is the figure that will blow your mind, the compounding interest on that 100 bucks could make that initial investment an astonishing 200 bucks in say 28 years based on a 2.5% interest rate (using formula based on theoretical financing calculations)
Here's a shocker!http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/news?sl...s&type=lgns
Im calling bullshit on Morse's steroid confession. He says, the steroids have remained in his body from when he used a year ago. Yeah right buddy!
traces of steroids can stay in your system for that long, that is true.
I don't really like giving away this secret, but since I've been called out on it... Kick returners do get points as offensive wide receivers. Simply click on your team and notice the scoring columns: Passing, Rushing, Receiving, RETURN, Misc, Fum.Therefore, you can theoretically score twice for a kick return TD, if you have the guy playing WR and the DEF. I think this is fair since you get two TD's if you have the QB and the WR on a pass TD. Thats a lot easier and less risky than a kick return TD.
Simply ignorant - enough said.http://www.courier-journal.com/apps...451/1008/NEWS01
Anyone see where the Ville is actually making a wise decision. The government is willing to invest 100M dollars if they build an arena downtown, which puts it on par with the cost of building one at the fairgrounds. The are only willing to do this at a downtown location because they will receive kickback through additional parking that will be created to accomadate the fans. This is great!
ATTN MARC:I can't remember if you said you couldn't get Daily Show clips. If you can, last night had Jon Stewart breaking down the president's actions during Katrina. It was absolutely hilarious. to follow up on the last post, here's an article from today's courier that talks about the assclowns running the arena task force committee. the task force all have special interests in putting the arena at the fairgrounds, most specifically for rep. larry clark (wife's on the kentucky fair board committee) and "papa" john schnatter (vested interested in u of l, doesn't want to lose naming rights to yum). mayor jerry for the first time in his entire life actually grew a pair and said the gov't's not chipping in for a fairgrounds arena, which of course doesn't benefit anybody. here's the article:http://www.courier-journal.com/apps.../509080386/1055

Is it just me, or does Kerry Collins look like he's got a touch of Downs? The guy looks dumbfounded all the time.
Brock - Yeah he and you have that same dumfounded look, but yours is more permanent! C'mon buddy you set yourself up for that one so I had to spike it down.
Kerry Collins-I've never seen anyone so chickenshit play the game of football. He'll throw the ball away 10 secs before someone can crush his ass. He'll also run out of the pocket long before it has collapsed. This is why he is a waste of space and I will continue to refuse to put him on my team. I'd put Jeff Garcia on my team before him. THAT'S how much he sucks...And he's a retard, as Brock pointed out.
My God, have you all seen U of L non conference schedule for basketball? I am surprised they try to schedule Saint Agnes
Did Bob Huggins make UofL's schedule. Not exactly an impressive lineup coming from a Final Four team. Way to boost the resume Pitino.
This is a load of crap!http://www.courier-journal.com/apps...484/1002/SPORTSSo are they going to split off public magnet schools as well?
pitino straight up said it was a weak non-conference schedule 'cuz he wanted to build his guys confidence. He then proceeded to say that after the big east schedule, his job may be in jeopardy. classic pitino, completely making his team out to suck, that way in case they do, it's not his fault, and if they don't suck, he gets all the credit. he did the same shit at uk in '96 when he had the greatest college basketball team ever
I think the exhibition game against BU might be tougher then the nonconference schedule
So what's better than Spinelli's for lunch on the company dollar? When your boss tells you "lets just wait for the pizza there so we can drink instead of hanging out at the office."Good times. Good times.
I kinda agree with that article posted, I dont think private schools should be able to offer athletic scholarships. "Non-public schools make up 16 percent of the KHSAA membership and won 57 percent of the titles." <---That is a load of crap. Are private schools really that much better or is it they have a huge pool of talent and they can recruit? I don't see Collegiate or St. Francis vying for any titles.
Private schools are not providing athletic scholarships. Some schools just provide financial aid to lower-income students (regardless of their athletic ability).I would not disagree that the private schools can select from a larger pool of talent, but they do not get to choose this pool. They have to get the students to come to the school in the first place as students, not athletes. One major reason why Catholic (not necessarily all private) schools have quality talent is because the Catholic elementary schools are basically a minor league farm system that gets kids playing together well before high school. However, public schools (i.e. Daviess Co.), are playing kids from elementary in high school athletics, thus extending their careers (is this any better?).Overall, I think that private schools may have a little better discipline and motivation in their athletes because they don't HAVE to be at those schools.
Here is a pretty cool invention.http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20050909..._nm/backpack_dc
Damn, do you guys think they will segregate HighQ?
Well not the case Erwin. So are you tryin go tell me that Trinity or St. Xavier wouldn't be able to find a few extra dollars to give to a family who boarderline qualifies for financial aid/paying their own way if their son is the next great football quarterback/running back/6-8 320 pound offensive lineman who runs a 4.9 40 yard dash?
Nope, they don't need to. If the family "borderline" qualifies, they have enough money to pay the tuition. Besides, they don't need to give incentives to athletes, the tradition recruits for itself. Who wouldn't want to play on a championship team?We are also not addressing the issue that some public schools (i.e. Manual, Shawnee) can have kids come in from anywhere in the area because they are "magnet" schools. You don't think those schools wouldn't "encourage" the "next great QB" to join the Flight training program?
I think this topic brings up the issue of the school voucher system. Why should someone be forced to go to a crummy school (Atherton) just because they live close by? If the school system was set up on vouchers, then any student would have their choice of schools based on academics or athletics. You can argue if you like, but I think this would make the school system a little more accountable for education quality. However, this does sound a lot like Communism (good in theory, but horrible in practice).
And the movie theaters are blaming Hollywood for making bad movies for the reasoning behing the boxoffice slumps. Personally, I will pay my bucks to see this gem.http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,...5420008,00.html
This is exactly the kind of thinking that occurs when the children sporting leagues no longer keep score because some lame ass tree hugging parent doesn't want to have to tell their shitty kid that they suck, instead they say "It's not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game that counts". The little fuck-o that first said that was the biggest douche ever. I have an idea, instead of seperating the schools, why not give everyone a championship ring and trophy and deem everyone as a winner? "I'm the real winner because you guys played!"
And fuck it....why not give every enlistee in the armed services a congressional medal of honor while we are at it.

Eat right! Make sure you get your daily dose of fruits and veggies. Take your vitamins and bump up your vitamin C. Get plenty of exercise because exercise helps build your immune system. Walk for at least an hour a day, go for a swim, take the stairs instead of the elevator, etc. Wash your hands often. If you can't wash them, keep a bottle of antibacterial stuff around. Get lots of fresh air. Open windows whenever possible. Get plenty of rest. Try to eliminate as much stress from your life as you can. OR Take the doctor's office approach. Think about it... When you go for a shot, what do they do first? Clean your arm with alcohol... Why? Because alcohol kills germs. So....... I walk to the liquor store...(exercise) I put lime in my Corona...(fruit) Celery in my Bloody Mary...(veggies) Drink outdoors on the bar patio...(fresh air) Tell jokes, laugh...(eliminate stress) Then pass out...(rest) The way I see it...If you keep your alcohol levels up, flu germs can't get you!!!! My grandmother always said, "A shot in the glass is better than one in the ass!"
as to the giving money to borderline people to go to trinity, I can vouch that this does happen because they gave my family money so we could afford it. It's through the archdiocese (however you spell it). It's given to anyone, not just MLB or point guards.

Okay so Texas didn't waltz into the horeshoe and deliver that Texas ass kicking like I predicted of Ohio St., however, I also didn't think they would have 3 turnovers in the game giving Ohio St. primetime field position. The good thing is Texas has one hell of a defense as to limiting those guys to 9 points on 3 fieldgoals on those 3 turnovers.
Oh yeah, have to give much love to the Ohio St. linebackers. One on one, none could contain my man Vince Young, however, when you triangulate with their three studs at linebacker (anchored by All-American A.J. Hawk) you do manage to slow him down. Kudos.
amazing thing about hawk is that he was recruited as a fullback
Don't get me wrong, I hate Ohio State but texas was a bunch of bitches by not kicking the ball towards Ginn. Texas had a hard time with holmes returning the ball. Holmes is fast but he is slower than shit compared to Ginn( fastest guy in college) Anyways it was a good game. GO Horns |_|
GO SOONERS!!!!
Adrian what about the Longhorn's runningback Charles? OSU uses 2 guys on special teams kickoff returns. Texas kicked to Ginn Jr. several time during the game, and shut him down on defense. Give credit to where credit is due, Texas defenders just showed up and were ready to play. And they did!
Okay - maybe this dude should get a nattysci t-shirthttp://www.thisisleicestershire.co....tentPK=13164206
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOE BURKET(A Natty Sci Original & one help to keep it alive)
Here is the link for the Texas-OSU game's boxscore!http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/boxsc...amp;confId=nullAdrian as you can see - Ginn returned the ball more times than Holmes for the game (including the punt return). In fact, the announcers of the game made the comment that Texas wasn't kicking the ball away from Ginn, instead it is as if they are daring him to make a play. Kicking the ball away from a guy is what UL did to Abney a few years ago where they took the best return man in the NCAA out of the game by intentionally kicking the ball out of bounds.

I never thought I'd say this, but Alabama is alot of fun! I just got back from Auburn where I had a fantastic weekend. I got to see some great 6A HS football on Fri. night, then Auburn vs. Miss. St at Jordan-Hare on Sat. and for those who haven't been there, the scenery (girls) is absolutely breathtaking. I think I'm gonna go back in Nov. for the Iron Bowl.
jesus titty fucking christ. fucking michael vick is perhaps the worst quarterback ever to play in the nfl. kerry collins for live, bitches!
Michael vick the worst? When I think of the falcons offense this is what I hear; "Somebody has to make a play! Michael can't do it all!" coach takes MV aside, "Michael you're the only one who can do it!"The Falcons have a good running game alternating between Dunn and Ducket, Crumpler is one of the best tight ends in the game, Vick is the most exciting and elusive QB's in the game (did you see the single play where Vick outlegged three defenders, one of which actually grabbed his leg, nothing was available downfield, because his recievers are shite, and he made it to the sideline and rocketed the ball to Crumpler, one of the best TE in the game? That play alone shows how dangerous he is, but more importantly what he brings to the game)but what about the receivers? When ATL decides to invest in some receivers then Vick will even be more of a defensive coordinators nightmare because then they will have a legit passing game.
Stew - just go to a UK home game when they are playing some of the SEC teams. I am telling ya man, I went to the UGA-UK game last year and every single UGA female fan in the stands was a HOOOOOOOOOOOTTIEEEEEEEE! I am telling ya brother, that is the place to be.
UK football injury update: OUCH! Keenan Burton breaks a bone for the third year in a row, Tommy Cook tears up his knee again-did somebody put a hex on these guys? It happens every year! Unbelievable!http://www.courier-journal.com/apps...RTS03/509130442
It's more than just those 2 guys who are huge for us but look at the rest of the injuries who are definately out."Hoping to end the Indiana series with its 10th win in the last 11 meetings, Kentucky will be without its most talented wide receiver (Keenan Burton), its veteran emotional leader (Tommy Cook) and a running back (Tony Dixon) who gained 105 yards on Indiana a year ago.Kentucky also will miss its most reliable run stopper at defensive tackle (Lamar Mills) and its starting free safety (Marcus McClinton). The Wildcats could again be without their most talented defensive tackle (Ricky Abren)".
I think this is going to be a huge test without several key guys in many valuable positions. I am hoping the freshman mature at a much faster rate now.
For the love of the game.http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/ne...tory?id=2160215

Is Abramson predicting a downtown arena?http://www.wave3.com/Global/story.a...mp;nav=0RZEeTK2What I find funny is I found a poll on the courier-journal website "Where to build the new arena" and the old silos along 65 near U of L's campus came up leading at like 35% where as downtown was at a combined 48% or so for the two locations. Not a horrible idea, however, if they build the arena at the silos why not just build at the fairgrounds? Oh that's right, closer to UofL! Regardless, I personally think both of those choices are errors. BUILD IT DOWNTOWN YOU MAROONS (in my best Bugs Bunny voice)! Think of the economic impact. It will definately be a waste. Oh wait a minute, just think how awesome the KY state fair will be with all the arts and crafts in the new stadium - WORST IDEA EVER! Fletcher also is pitching in about 75Million for a new downtown arena because he knows it will spur economic growth.
I completely agree. The only logical location for a new arena is downtown. The "silos" location is stupid. U of L is a commuter school, an on-campus arena makes no sense. Parking around U of L is already at a premium (just look at the football parking mess). The downtown location is in close proximity to the convention center, many hotels, restaurants, and 4th St. Live. Building at the fair and expo center would be slightly better than the silos, but it would not have the economic impact of a downtown arena. No matter what city you are in, a downtown arena creates a lot of business for the surrounding area. For example, when the Air Canada Centre was built in Toronto (on the site of an old railyard and postal depot) it completely rejuvenated a relatively neglected part of downtown. During Leafs and Raptors games, it is virtually impossible to find a seat at a restaurant/bar for a 2 mile radius in all directions. Even though Louisville is not as big as Toronto, the results would be the same.
Amen Canadian brethren!
Louis Farrakhan is a fucking idiot. Every time he opens his goddamn mouth, something stupid comes out. http://www.wcnc.com/news/topstories...n.4fb21767.html
A couple of points:1. The simple fact that the downtown arena is even being argued is a joke. The only "discussion" that should be going on is where in DOWNTOWN to put it and which resteraunts and bars get the premium space around it. I'd recommend taking note of the clowns opposed and booting their asses right out of office. Hell, even Ernie Fletcher supports it, it has to be right.2. One suggestion for all these sanctamonious pricks running around claiming conspiracy and complaining about disaster relief: Shut the FUCK up and DO something! Trust me, the Red Cross, national guard, and whoever else is out there in the front lines helping these people don't give a rats ass what you say, they just want another hand. Grab a case of water, a shovel, or a gun and cram it in your mouth.

Humans do a lot of things that look completely retarded when analyzed frame by frame. So when you follow a goofball like Bush or myself around with a camera 16 hours a day, it's not too hard to come up with a silly looking photo. The note is funny as shit, though. Knowing that photographers are everywhere, you would think that they would have some sort of a code worked out for that (e.g. "It's time to negotiate a treaty with Kim Jong Il" or "I need to deport Michael Moore").

I didn't pick them because they contained Bush, believe it or not. What I found funny were the captions that Yahoo decided to place with them. And the fact that Yahoo put them online anyway. If you look hard enough, there is a nipple shot of Paris Hilton in one of the pictures. Not like any of you haven't seen Paris Hilton's nipples anyway, so I chose not to put it on here.

If you visit the above link, check out the "Plan of Action" which mentions seceding from the Union. Is that not almost treasonous?
What is really funny is how the Constitution is written. People first came here from Europe and colonized because of religious persecution (variety of Christian doctorine). Over the years there were some people who disbanded from the Church and/or you get other religions here, now the US must state that their religions are acceptable too. Therefore, we now have a variety of religions including Islamic (Extremists) right here in the US because, the Constitution protects their right of freedom of religion or their freedom to have no religion. Then we have to move on to the seperation of Church and State where that was mainly intended so our country would not be governed by a certain religion like it was in the European monarchies. Also, religions were very political and pretty much justified whatever they wanted because they would always fall back on the whole this is for God or you are turning your back on God or some shit like that. Whatever religion the king was, that was the official religion of the country so we bi-pass that and seperate church from the state. Also, it is worth noting that the majority of people are stupid and never question things, so when someone in a faith based organization (like religion) speak, the sheep will follow/listen. However, I must say this doesn't really suprise me because history does tend to repeat itself. However, this is SC so in my opinion, I am sure most of these people are Protestant Klansman who just want to fly "Stars and Bars" again!

"It seems like a 6-inch birdie putt, a coaching matchup against Dave Wannstedt or an attractive person who keeps staring at you from across the room. You've got this. You can't lose. Look at the new Big East Conference. Look at the University of Louisville football team. The spoils never have been this attainable." - Jerry Brewer, The Courier-JournalThis is almost as funny as Bobby Knight calling out Dale Brown.
Oh yeah, Dave Wannstedt - You suck!

What the hell?http://www.mosnews.com/news/2005/09...gbkatrina.shtml
Wes, do you actually work at work? Because I don't, and its awesome isn't it?
Cuban and I are going to Cincinnati Saturday afternoon for Chris' birthday. Anybody else interested in heading up there?
Although a trip to Cincinnati would be fun, I am actually leaving for San Francisco tomorrow morning. Brock - Yeah I work, but my boss is on a business trip and since I am going on vacation tomorrow..motivation at an all-time low.
motivation? what the hell is that?
This is weird since I'm coming in to Louisville this weekend.
Coincidence or planned?
Trinity-X game, since I still have two brothers there and one is playing. Besides, I need some fresh air, Cincy is full of mold.
i can go to cincy joe. i mean what the hell else am i gonna do?
vegas is way better than cincy for a weekend trip
I bet the hookers are better
i wouldn't know =)
pathetic, just pathetic.http://www.usatoday.com/sports/prep...rivalries_x.htm
alcohol freevst x trinity game? what is that?
Whats pathetic? Wouldn't you take advantage of any opportunity to go nuts tail-gating? Some people just don't understand.
nothing more than a high school football game, my mighty alma mater is in action tonight, too. waggener, state runner up in '99.
what was that AAA against Highlands? Where is Derek Smith?
obviously my sarcasm was lost on you joe. when have you ever heard me proudly boast about my years as a waggener wildcat? I claim bellarmine knight status long before I do for waggener.
who's down for fantasy hockey? anyone?
Douglas, I'm definately down for fantasy hockey, I was gonna post something about it the other day but I didn't think anyone else would care.
Talk about your new Big East power house squad.
I do believe another team in this state lost too. And that's all I'm gonna say about that. (Actually WKU lost to Auburn). Aw fuck it-I'm going out to chase some tail! Woooo!
I know a lot of U of L fans are upset and pissed right now because the cards took an ass ramming in their Big East opener. So I will not rub it in your faces that you probably lost your shot at the Sugar Bowl. The impressive thing to remember is that The cards have only two losses in the past two years. Great Job and keep up the good work! Beatches!
wow I think that is the first time adrian has posted in months. Adrian posted for a UL loss at 10:15 approx a half hour after the game ended if that. Lets see if he responds as fast when I call him a douchebag....ready, set, go.Adrian is a DOUCHEBAG!!!
I was hoping UofL would go undefeated, but this does help a dilemma I have. Who to root for in the UC-UofL game. I was going to root for UofL if they were undefeated, but since they aren't and now have no shot at the Nat'l Title game, I might as well root for UC. If they can keep it closer than 70-7, that's a victory.
Try this out..GO to www.google.com.Type in the word failure in the search field.Click the I'm Feeling Lucky buttonThe returning search result is funny and it is work safe.
Adrian, the only bowl we lost a shot at was the Rose Bowl, which we probably weren't going to anyways, even undefeated. The winner of the Big East conference still goes to a BCS bowl. That is still a distinct possibility for the Cards. On the other hand, we have the Cats, who's "bowl game" will be the annual match up with Vandy for the basement of the SEC East, only the way that Vandy is playing right now means the UK will just have one more blowout on their hands.
Phil, this does not bode well for your Bills:http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/...tory?id=2172743
I was hoping the Bills would be solid this season, but they've supremely under-acheived thus far, and with no signs of turnaround. The Bengals on the other hand are 3-0!
