And So It Goes

Working On My Fantasies
Time to come up with a game plan for Fantasy Football, stat. So I figure we
have a few options that we need to figure out. Everyone please make your
preferences known. Ideally we can get a competitive league going.
Fee:
- Nothing. Pros: more people will play. Cons: more people will play and
stop caring around October 1st about their team.
- $10. Pros: we have enough for a reward at the end of the season, people
will be less likely to have an abandoned team. Cons: Fewer teams, bonus only
applies to the end of the season so the lower teams lose anything to play
for if they are out of the playoffs
- $50. Pros: weekly prizes for high score, higher stakes means more
competition. Cons: Fewer teams
Draft:
- Live. How many people could make it? What about those that can't?
- Online: More people can make it
- Some weird combination of the two - we could bring our laptops over to
Joe's and just do the online stuff individually, and the out of towners
could still participate. The bad side is we all look like a bunch of tools
sitting around with our laptops.
